The Gas Safe Register is not a membership body or trade association, it is operated on behalf of the Health & Safety Executive of the UK & Northern Ireland.

We firmly believe in transparent pricing, no ifs or buts.
You will always receive a fully detailed quote with a fixed price before work commences and the price you see is the price you will pay, it’s that simple.
If when booking and paying for a service via our website you purposefully or unintentionally misrepresent the work to be carried out we will revise the price to complete the work and proceed on that basis or refund your money for the appointment. (an example below)
A customer purchases a replacement cooker installation. One condition of such an appointment and fixed price is that there is a Gas pipe in that location.
Our Engineer discovers upon arrival that the previous cooker was electric and that there is indeed No Gas pipe in that location, which would require a new Gas run to be piped in to that location.

Our online booking facility was developed because customers told us they wanted the ability to book appointments online, without the - “I can you do this day, can you” etc.

The Safety of you, your family & home is and always will be our number one priority. All our highly skilled GAS SAFE registered Engineers follow our Best Practice Approach, which means that we don’t just meet the minimum requirements under the GAS Safety Installation & Use Regulations, but exceed them.
For example we install ball lever valves as standard on everything entering a new boiler or on cooker installations. Others may not, because it is not required as per the regulations and they cost money - Our Best Practice Approach means we install them because it’s Safer and will undoubtedly help in the future should any problem arise.
